Boxer Vassiliy Levit named department head at Astana’s administration office

Olympic games medalist Vassiliy Levit has taken up the post of the head of the physical culture and sport department of the administration office of the Kazakh capital, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Born in 1988 in Kostanay region, Levit is an honored master of sport of Kazakhstan, 2016 Summer Olympics silver medalist, two-time World Boxing Championships bronze medalist, first three-time winner of the Asian Boxing Championships from Kazakhstan.
Since 2022, Levit headed the personnel physical training department at the Anti-corruption Agency.
