Boxer Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbaiuly lost in Paris Games quarterfinal

Kazakh boxer Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbaiuly could not reach the semifinal of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform News Agency learned from Olympic.kz.
He fought against Georgian Lasha Guruli, bronze medalist of the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, in men's 63.5kg quarterfinal.
Bazarbayuly dominated in the first round, but, unfortunately, lost in the second and third rounds.
The National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan addressed the PBU (Paris Boxing Unit) regarding some judges' biased attitude to Kazakh boxers.
The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris is set to run from July 26 through August 11. The Games brought together 10,500 athletes from 206 national Olympic committees. Kazakhstan is represented by 80 athletes in 25 sports.
