Bosnia and Herzegovina likely to open its embassy in Astana

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM Bosnia and Herzegovina is likely to open its Embassy in Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj informed of it at a briefing after the meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kazykhanov in Astana today.

The meeting focused on state and prospects of development of the bilateral ties, interaction within the international organizations, as well as the most urgent issues of international agenda.

Following the meeting the ministers signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cabinet of Bosnia and Herzegovina on exemption of the holders of diplomatic and service passports of visa requirements.

Upon completion of the meeting, the Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina said: "We have discussed the opportunity of opening our Embassy in Kazakhstan which would promote the development of the relations between our two friendly nations".
