Border patrol foils alcohol smuggling from Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A Russian man was detained by Kazakhstani border patrol for allegedly importing alcohol across the Kazakh-Russian border, the press service of the frontier service reports.
The 32-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation tried to smuggle 2,000 litres of cognac and whisky in a truck from Kazakhstan to his home country. An investigation has been initiated.
