«Bolashak» scholarship's new strategy presented in Hong Kong
The international educational exhibition was attended by reps of more than 150 leading universities, educational centers and institutions from 30 countries including the universities of Hong Kong heading the ranking lists of leading universities of the Asia-Pacific region.
There took place a seminar on search for new methods and forms of international educational cooperation and there was a presentation of a new strategy for "Bolashak" scholarship development.
According to Gayni Esembekova, head of the International Relations and Analysis Center for International Programs, nowadays major world universities are seeking new ways of international educational colaboration, and in this context Bolashak's new strategy aiming to train Kazakhstani specialists in fields of education science, engineering, medicine and science is of high interest for the partners.
During the visit to Hong Kong, the International Programs Center delegation laid the foundation for further mutual actitivties with Hong Kong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which enter top 10 universities of Asia.
It bears reminding that Hong Kong universities use the British education system and are considered highly competitive and responsive to world standards. According to the list of Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science for 2013, 26 leading universities in Asia and the Pacific region are recommended for training of "Bolashak" scholarship holders .
As part of the 20th anniversary of "Bolashak" scholarship, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan conducts various events, which are aimed at presenting Kazakhstan's educational system and new development strategy of "Bolashak"scholarship.
