Blowing snow to persist across Kazakhstan on Jan 23

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Snow, blizzard, fog, ice slick, strong winds are expected in most parts of the country on January 23.
According to Kazhydromet in the west and the extreme northern regions of the country the weather will be without precipitation. Blizzard, strong wind of 15-20 mps are expected in East Kazakhstan and Akmola regions. Snowstorm, fog, and strong wind of 15-20 mps will persist in Karaganda, North-Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions. Blanket of fog will cover Kyzylorda, Mangystau region and Zhambyl regions of the country. Fogs, ice slick, strong winds in the second part of the day are forecast for South Kazakhstan region.
