Blowing snow and fog to hit Kazakhstan on Tuesday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Blizzard, fog, black ice and stiff wind are expected in some regions of Kazakhstan today, February 17.
According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, it will be foggy, slippery and windy in Akmola region. Fog and wind with gusts up to 15-20 meters per second will torment North Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions as well. Karaganda region will be steeped in fog and hit by blowing wind. Bleak wind will bring blizzard to West Kazakhstan region. Blowing snow and gusty wind are expected in Kostanay region. Fog and strong wind will blanket South Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions. Meteorologists predict that fog will hit Almaty, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Atyrau and Aktobe regions.
