Blizzard and frost to grip Kazakhstan Jan 9-11

The cyclone approaching Kazakhstan from the Black Sea region which is moving from the country's west to the east will cause heavy snowfall with blizzard in three days coming. Meanwhile, the Scandinavian anti-cyclone will bring short-term intensification of frosts, Kazinform News Agency refers to Kazhydromet.
Gusting wind will hit across the county.
Nighttime temperatures in western, northwestern, northern and central parts will drop to -20, -30°C, and to -18, -23°C in eastern parts.
