Bill easing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation procedure approved in first reading

ASTANA. KAZINFORM At today's plenary sitting the Majilis approved in the first reading amendments to the health and healthcare system code of Kazakhstan.
"The bill is aimed at eliminating gaps in the legislation regarding improvement of the state regulation and healthcare management, health promotion and fostering culture of healthy living, drug policy refining," Healthcare Minister Salidat Kairbekova said representing the draft law.
In an effort to facilitate the procedure of tissue and organs transplantation and protection of the rights of donors and recipients the bill envisages hematopoietic stem cell transplantation regulations. The draft law is also purposed to reduce tobacco use in all its forms.
