Bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Ukraine are developing in a dynamic way, Kazakh leader

During the meeting President Nursultan Nazarbayev said that our countries were developing positive partnerships.

"Having my invitation, you came to our country to become familiar with the work that is carried out within the framework of the Customs Union. I think that your presence at all our meetings will be beneficial. In the early days of the Union trade turnover increased by 30-40%. In the same vein is the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The mutual trade has increased more than 24% over the previous year, and we need to maintain this level. We can achieve more significant results with the existing "Road Map", said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Viktor Yanukovych thanked for the opportunity to meet and discuss issues of integration in a wide format.

"We know that the Customs Union is based, largely, on your old ideas on the proposals that have been made long before the economic crisis. We are well aware that economic growth may be only when all possibilitiesare made use of, all the power is used, when there is innovation, there is a modernization of industry and increasing production of products with high added value. The competition is strengthened when the range of partners is expanding ", said the President of Ukraine.
