BIE Sec Gen highly appreciates preparations for EXPO 2017

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Vicente Loscertales, Secretary General of the BIE, has arrived today in Astana to survey preparations for Astana EXPO 2017, the press service of the Astana EXPO 2017 National Company said.
Vicente Loscertales met with Astana EXPO 2017 National Company CEO Talgat Yermegiyayev and got acquainted with the reports on the work done prior to the exhibition. Highly appreciating the progress of construction and architecture Loscertales said he would also visit the exhibition complex construction site. Vicente Loscertales will hold talks with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, PM Karim Massimov, 1st Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Rapil Zhoshybayev. Secretary General of the BIE is expected to attend the first meeting of international participants of EXPO 2017 set for October 22-23 and Future Energy: Reduction of CO2 Emissions international forum on October 23.
