Best projects of Belarusian Academy of Science to be presented in Astana
The sides discussed issues regarding mutually beneficial scientific cooperation. The Belarusian side presented a number of innovative projects in the field of energy-saving, space and other advanced technologies that can be used in the medicine, industry, agriculture, etc.
"The Belarusian experience in the science commercialization is of particular interest for Kazakhstan. There exists an opportunity for joint work in this sphere", B.Zhumagulov said.
Speaking of science development in Kazakhstan the Kazakh Minister said that the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development is being successfully implemented in the country as well as the Program of Education Development for 2011-2020. The Programs are fully provided with financing and material base.
"Over USD 5 bln is allocated for education in Kazakhstan annually. This makes 4.1% of the GDP", the Minister emphasized.
At the end of the meeting the parties achieved an agreement on holding a presentation of the best projects of the Belarusian scientific-research institutes for interested industrial enterprises of Kazakhstan in May in Astana.
