Berlin Eurasian Club should become permanent Kazakh-German partnership institution

ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM "The Berlin Eurasian Club should become the permanent Kazakh-German partnership institution," Kazakh Ambassador to Germany Nurlan Onzhanov told the 2nd sitting of the Berlin Eurasian Club gathered to debate the Eurasian economic integration: prospects and challenges for Kazakhstan and the EU.
It took place at the Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
"Currently, the Berlin Eurasian Club should focus on strengthening ties between Germany and Kazakhstan, Europe and Asia at large, the EU and Eurasian integration alliances such as the Customs Union, Single Economic Space," the ambassador added.
The Berlin Club opened in Germany on February 8, 2012 with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was founded as a dialogue platform to discuss a wide range of socio-political issues between Kazakhstan and Germany, and the EU.
