«Berkutchi» Int'l Festival takes place in Kazakhstan for the first time ever

More than 60 hunters came from Kazakhstan (25 participants), China (14), Mongolia (13), Kyrgyzstan (5), Uzbekistan (1) and from the European countries such as Spain, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Kazakh team will perform best preys from all regions of the country.

The press conference dedicated to the event was attended by the managing director of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" Darkhan Kaletayev, I Vice-President of the Association of national sports, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Sports and Physical Education Elsiyar Kanagatov.

Spanish team representative Juan Bernabe thanked the organizers for the invitation and said that the festival is very important for the European countries.

The festival is organized by Kazakhstan national sports association which general sponsor is "Samruk-Kazyna" NWF. This year "Samruk-Kazyna" allocated KZT 397 million for the development of national sports.
Festival Venue: Akmola region, Tselinograd district, Malotimofeevka village, "Bal Karagay" recreation area.
