Belarusian Industry Ministry enterprises to open new service centers, dealerships in Kazakhstan

The sides discussed further expansion of cooperation in the area of agricultural and automobile mechanical engineering. The possibility of promoting Belarusian vehicles in Kazakhstan using leasing schemes was discussed.
The Kazakh side praised the high quality of the Belarus-made vehicles used in the oblast and confirmed the interest in promoting tighter cooperation with Belarusian companies in implementing new projects in industrial production and the establishment of joint ventures.
Heads of the leading enterprises of the industry took part in the negotiations, including Gomselmash, Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), BelAZ, Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Lidselmash, Lidagroprommash, and Minsk Motor Plant. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Mr Yergali Bulegenov was also present at the meeting.
According to the Industry Ministry, in 2012 enterprises of the industry exported nearly $255.3 million worth of vehicles, products, and spare parts to Kazakhstan, 143% as against 2011. The main exporters to Kazakhstan are MTZ, MAZ, Gomselmash, BelAZ, and Mogilevliftmash, BelTA reports.
