BelarusExpo 2013 in Astana features over 250 companies

The expo features the economic potential of Belarus and demonstrates the best products and scientific developments of the country.

A Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, the Chairman of the Belarusian part of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation Mikhail Rusyi was in Astana from 4 to 6 June. The delegation included representatives of the ministries of industry, agriculture and food, architecture and construction, Belneftekhim concern, the State Committee on Science and Technology, and the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.

Mikhail Rusyi took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition, held a working meeting with Emergencies Minister of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan part of the commission Vladimir Bozhko, and also intergovernmental negotiations with First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Regional Development Bakytzhan Sagintayev. The parties discussed in detail the progress in implementation of the agreements achieved at the highest level on expanding economic cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan and the plan of action for the near-term perspective.
