Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan to develop railway transport and logistics in SES

MINSK. June 5. KAZINFORM Chiefs of railway services of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum on developing the transport and logistics system of the Single Economic Space, BelTA learnt from the press service of Belarusian Railways.
The document was signed during an international railway forum "1520 Strategic Partnership" held in Sochi on 30 May-1 June. The document was inked by Chief of Belarusian Railways Anatoly Sivak, President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin and President of the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Askar Mamin.
"The parties agreed to unite their efforts and expand cooperation in transport and logistics in a bid to provide high quality and competitive services within the framework of the SES and in the future in the areas that use the 1520mm gauge," the press service informed.
