Belarus, Russia agree on oil deliveries in Q1 2013
The negotiations between First Vice Premier of Belarus Mr Vladimir Semashko and Vice Premier of Russia Mr Arkady Dvorkovich took place in Moscow on 27-28 December.
BelTA has learned that in Q1 2013 Belarus will get 5.75 million tonnes of Russian oil. The source pointed out that the volume corresponds to the amount of oil Belarus intends to get in 2013 (23 million tonnes), provided the workload of Belarusian oil refineries is uniform.
The negotiations were constructive and allowed securing a concerted decision. An agreement has been reached to resume negotiations in Q1 2013 to discuss the amount of oil Belarus can get in the rest of the year.
This year the balance of Russian oil deliveries to Belarus will be executed in full. Belarusian oil refineries have processed 21.7 million tonnes of oil, 5.7% up from 2011.
