Yuri Ambrazevich noted that the notions of "interethnic accord" and "tolerance" are now frequently used in geopolitics and many countries try to stick to them. These principles are stipulated in the UN Charter and a number of other international documents that call to respect the rights of nations and the state sovereignty, the independent choice of development path and non-interference in domestic affairs of other states. "Belarus and Kazakhstan abide by the principles of interethnic accord and tolerance in their foreign policies. However, unfortunately, despite the declared supremacy of pluralism and tolerance in human and interstate relations, in practice not all countries recognize the right of other states to choose their own development path. It is not a secret that Belarus was seriously affected by the violation of these principles on the part of individual states. A number of our citizens and companies are facing visa restrictions and economic coercion," he said.

He added that Belarus can count on the support of many friendly nations, including Kazakhstan. They all stick to the principles of accord and tolerance in their foreign policies and help Belarus withstand the criticism and pressure, including within the framework of the UN, Kazinform refers BelTA.
