For her part, Yelena Ponomareva, Professor of the Comparative Politics Department of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, said that the Belarusian model proved its efficiency and viability. Moreover, Russia and Kazakhstan both have achieved a lot in maintaining decent living standards and the national independence.
