Bektenov instructs emergency situations ministry and regional administrations to report daily on flood situation in country
Prime minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov heard reports delivered by deputy prime minister Roman Sklyar, emergency situations minister Chingis Arinov, and governors of some regions, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh government.

Bektenov was reported on the situation in the regions amid intensive snow melting, ice masses and flood control works.
According to the emergency situations ministry, a total of 2,500 personnel, about 700 pieces of equipment, and more than 290 pieces of water pumping and floating equipment are involved in flood control measures.
Republican and regional operational headquarters have been set up in Almaty, Akmola, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda, Pavlodar regions, as well as in the Abai, Ulytau and Astana regions.
The emergency situations ministry together with regional akimats was instructed to continue flood control work and report daily on the situation in the country.
