Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline to solve historic problem of depending of Kazakhstan's south on imported gas - Shukeyev
First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev took part in the event. "At the first stage transportation of six billion cubic meters of gas from western regions of Kazakhstan to southern will be solved. Our historic problem of the southern regions' depending on imported gas will be solved," U.Shukeyev said.
The First Vice Premier read a letter of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Head of State congratulated the people on a serious step - the country's formation as a self-gas power. The Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline will connect all pipelines in the country into an unified internal network and will allow to supply the domestic gas to the country's south.
U.Shukeyev noted that the project of the gas pipeline construction is one of the most difficult in the practice of independent Kazakhstan.
