BC Astana sack head coach Matteo Boniciolli

ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani professional basketball club "Astana" have decided to part ways with its head coach Matteo Boniciolli, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
The Italian leaves the team after a two-year tenure and will be temporary replaced with Vitaly Strebkov.
"I am thankful to the management of the club for their trust in me. We've had ups and downs over these two years, but I was happy to coach "Astana". I wholeheartedly wish the team further success and will cheer up for them. Thank you, Kazakhstan!", the sacked coach said.
Boniciolli was fired after BC "Astana" suffered the fourth consecutive defeat from BC "Neptunas" of Lithuania in the VTB United League in Almaty.
