«Barys» takes revenge over «Traktor»

ASTANA. December 4. KAZINFORM - Astana Hockey Club "Barys" in a match of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) has crushed HC "Traktor" from Chelyabinsk.

The game which took place in Chelyabinsk completed with a "dry" score 0:4 (0:1, 0:3, 0:0).

Thus, Astana hockey team took revenge on annoying loss of October 28 when "Barys" defeated to ''Traktor'' with a score of 1:5. Having won the game against ''Traktor" the Astana team has held its second consecutive away win and, thus, had the opportunity to become the leader of the Eastern Conference of the KHL slightly ahead on points the Kazan HC ''Ak Bars".

The authors of the goals were Dmitry Uper (08:00), Roman Starchenko (23:34), Nigel Dawes (32:56) and Mikhail Panshin (36:26). For Chelyabinsk hockey team our gates were impregnable as a result of the excellent game showed by the Finnish goalkeeper Ari Ahonen.

The next game the capital club will hold on December 5 against "Neftekhimik" team in the town called Nizhnekamsk. The game starts at 9.00 pm Astana time.
