Barys officially sign 2010 Stanley Cup finalist

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have officially signed Latvian professional hockey player Oskars Bārtulis, Kazinform has learned from hcbarys.kz.
The club inked a one-year contract with the 27-year-old defenseman. Bārtulis spent the last season with HC Donbass of the KHL under the helm of current Barys coach Andrei Nazarov.
He previously played in the National Hockey League with the Philadelphia Flyers and made it to the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals. He also was part of the Latvian national hockey team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
