Barys and Avangard tied after first period

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana's Barys and Avangard from Omsk try to decide who deserves to advance further in this year's play-off of the Continental Hockey League.
In the critical game 7, Barys and Avangard are tied 1:1 after the first period. Nigel Dawes scored the first goal early in the first period which was assisted by Dustin Boyd. That allowed Barys to lead in the game, but not for long. Chad Kolarik evened the score for Avangard in just about five minutes.
The teams will soon begin the second period.
