ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM - Baptismal bathing will be held at night on January 18-19. Astana residents can dive in the ice hole in two places - on the right bank near the Palace of Schoolchildren (RC "Grand Astana") and on the left bank in the area of the central park. This information was given to astana.kz in the press service of Astana city Department of emergency situations.
Astana city DES subdivisions: water rescuers, and medical workers will be on duty in order to provide safety at the places of the Baptismal bathing.
Astana city Department of emergency situations recalls that during bathing in the ice hall in order to prevent overcooling it's contraindicative to stay in the water for a long time and bathe under the influence of alcohol. If one is sick, he should get a doctor's advice in advance in order to avoid undesired consequences.
