Baku hosted a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission

Kazinform earlier reported that the Kazakh delegation was headed by a deputy oil and gas minister Magzum Mirzagaliev.

The parties talked over issues covering issues of cooperation in trade and economy, in the fuel and energy sector, transport and communications, in the field of environment, tourism and culture, healthcare, agriculture and other fields.

The event ended with the signing of a protocol by Azerbaijan energy minister Natig Aliyev and Kazakhstan deputy oil and gas minister Magzum Mirzagaliev.

The commission's recommendations cover a wide range of bilateral issues relating to the expansion of trade, economic and investment relations in various spheres.

The next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in Astana.
