Bahrain probes flu test fiasco

MANAMA: The Health Ministry has launched an investigation against a private hospital that sent home a 21-year-old Bahraini man who later tested positive for A/H1N1 virus after 10 hours; Kazinform refers to Arab News.
?We have ordered immediate action against the private hospital and will investigate the matter,? Undersecretary of Health Dr. Aziz Hamza said during a press conference yesterday. The patient appears to be recovering.
The student was out in the open for about 10 hours. He initially tested negative on Sunday, but on Monday he tested positive using a kit specifically for detecting the virus; Kazinform cites Arab News. See www.arabnews.com for full version.
