Bad weather causes road closures in 6 Kazakh regions

Traffic restrictions have been imposed in on 23 republican road sections in six regions of Kazakhstan due to bad weather conditions, Kazinform News Agency cites KazAvtoJol.
Traffic curbs are in place on 11 sections of republican road in Aktobe region, one road section in Zhetysu region, seven road sections in West Kazakhstan region, one road section in Kostanay region, one road section in North Kazakhstan region, and two road sections in Ulytau region.
Traffic is restricted for all vehicles due to snow, blizzard, poor visibility and black ice.
246 units of machinery and 359 workers have been deployed in clean-up works on roads of republican significance.
