Baby's body found on Sydney beach

SYDNEY. KAZINFORM The body of a baby has been found on Maroubra beach by children playing in the sand.New South Wales police established a crime scene on Sunday morning after the body was found by a group of children playing at the southern end of the beach.
A statement from NSW police said: "Police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were called to the beach and have established a crime scene which will be examined by specialist forensic officers, the Guardian reports. "Officers from the police rescue squad are also on scene and investigations into the child's death are continuing, however, the age and sex of the child are yet to be determined." The cause of the baby's death is still unknown, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
