Baby Mammoth Lyuba Heads Home

MOSCOW. January 22. KAZINFORM - The world's most famous mammoth, Lyuba, has brought her five-year world tour to a close this week, leaving Moscow's Darwin Museum for her home in the Yamal Peninsula, RIA Novosti reports.
The 42,000 -year-old animal was found entirely preserved by a reindeer herder in 2007. As Lyuba travelled to America, Japan and Hong Kong, researchers closely monitored the unique specimen to make sure that she wasn't damaged.
