B. Saparbayev informed President about implementation of social programs

B. Saparbayev reported the President on implementation of the programs and fulfillment of the instructions given by the Head of State in the social sphere and on the plans for the nearest future.

The President of Kazakhstan drew attention to the fact that the Government exerted every effort for rendering assistance to people in their employment.

"All programs including road maps of business and employment and "Nurly Zhol" are aimed at ensuring employment of the people, which is one of the top priorities of the state. The regional adminstraitons have to monitor the needs of enterprises for specialists and help develop small and medium-sized business. Big companies cut jobs because of introduction of innovative technologies. In this case, the service sphere has to prove additional jobs as well as small and medium-sized business," N. Nazarbayev said.

The President also instructed to ensure full embracement of children with pre-school education by 2020, liquidate three-shift schools and schools in critical conditions, prepare specialists that are in demand by the economy and some sectors.

The President emphasized the importance of establishment of scientific and production complexes within universities, research institutes and production plants.

N. Nazarbayev stressed the significance of five institutional reforms and the necessity of high-quality implementation of the action plan - "100 steps".

B. Saparbayev emphasized that 320 thousand people would be embraced with the support measures in terms of employment assistance this year. It will allow to keep the unemployment level at about 5.2%.

The Deputy Prime Minister informed that the government introduced monitoring measures in the employment sphere for timely response to any changes in the sphere.

Besides, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that one of the main directions of development of healthcare would be ensuring financial stability of the sector for the nearest future. Besides, the measures will include improvement of the primary medical care, introduction of a diseases management program and improvement of the human resources basis.

Upon completion of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions.
