B. Sagintayev ordered to constantly monitor flood situation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a sitting focused on the flood situation in the regions and taken measures in the Ukimet Uyi today, the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan informs.
Representatives of central state and local executive bodies took part in the meeting.
All the regions have their own plans how to respond to the emergency situation and their cooperation plans. 4515 rescuers, firemen and servicemen are working in the areas of the emergency situation, 1221 units of special equipment and 74 floating devices are used at the operations.
11172 people were evacuated from the localities that were expected to be flooded to prevent casualties.
B. Sagintayev ordered governors of the regions, Astana and Almaty mayors jointly with state bodies to monitor the situation regarding flooding daily and control the situation to promptly respond.
