Azgirskiy area residents to get tested at chromosomal level

In the villages of Kurmangazy district, located on the territory of the former military training area, about a thousand people filled in questionnaires. One hundred people among the interviewed, who have passed medical and radiological examination in East Kazakhstan for presence of radionuclides in the blood and body secretions, were selected for testing at chromosomal level.

By the end of the current year there will be obtained and made ​​public the results of the surveys which will determine what impact was made towards the population's health by the nuclear explosions.
