Azerbaijan to host meeting of CIS Chiefs of Staff Committee

BAKU. KAZINFORM - Baku will host the meeting of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of CIS member states on April 7-8, according to the website of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
This event will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time. The country's Defense Ministry participates in meetings of the Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries. The meetings of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers were held in Baku in 2001 and 2006.
The Kazakh delegation will be chaired by first deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of Kazakhstan Colonel-General S.Zhasuzakov.
