Azerbaijan marks 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fuzuli and 80th jubilee of Aktobe Regional Philharmonic Hall
The Kazakh Chamber Choir of the Gaziza Zhubanova Aktobe Regional Philharmonic Hall and Azerbaijan’s State Choir of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Magomayev gave joint concerts in the cities of Baku and Gyanja, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The musical performance was organized by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Fund as part of celebration of the 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fuzuli, an outstanding Azerbaijani poet and thinker.

The audience enjoyed Fuzuli Cantata by musician Jahangir Jahangirov and unique compositions by great Kazakh composers.
According to the organizers, Fuzuli Days project is called to assist in a broader coverage and promotion of Muhammad Fuzuli’s oeuvre in the international arena as well as to strengthen the ties among the fraternal Turkic nations.

“The Fund has implemented various projects to support the initiatives of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev. One of them is the publication of the book “Heydar Aliyev and Muhammad Fuzuli” which reflects exceptional merits of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in the popularization of Fuzuli’s legacy,” President of the Fund Aktoty Raimkulova said.
In her words, the Days of Azerbaijan Culture held in Kazakhstan September 23-26, began with a presentation of the book titled “Fuzuli – 530 Lines” also published by the Fund. Another major project of the Fund is the organization of the Fuzuli Days in Baku and Gyanja.

Aktoty Raimkulova highlighted that the concerts were also dedicated to the celebration of the 80th jubilee of the Gaziza Zhubanova Aktobe Regional Philharmonic Hall.
Those attending the event were foreign diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan, deputies, prominent workers of culture, art, literature, and mass media.

The Turkic Culture and Heritage Fund established on the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and with the support of the heads of state of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye, pursues a mission to preserve, to study and to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world in the international arena.

Earlier, Baku hosted a presentation of the book “My Name is Kozha” by outstanding Kazakh children’s writer, founder of the Kazakh children’s literature, Berdibek Sokpakbayev, to celebrate the writer’s 100th anniversary. The event organized with the participation of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Fund, was held as part of the X Baku International Book Fair.
