Avalanche hazard in mountainous areas of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Emergency Committee under the Ministry of Interior has issued avalanche warning for East Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan and Almaty regions on April 16-17.
According to the committee, avalanche is expected in the mountain areas of East Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan and Almaty regions due to intensive warming and fast snow melting. Emergency Committee cautioned residents and guests of the above mentioned regions to avoid avalanche prone areas.
