Atyrau region launched 7 new productions in 2010

ATYRAU. February 16. KAZINFORM /Andrei Sokolov/ Governor of Atyrau region Bergei Ryskaliyev has reported on the results of social and economic development of the region in 2010 and on tasks for 2011 today.

As the governor informed, the industrial output in the region made KZT 3 trln 59 bln last year. Seven big enterprises totaling KZT 31.5 bln were put into operation. The first in the region and in the country a production line of medical syringes was launched.

The social infrastructure developed successfully as well. Atyrau residents received 2 683 new apartments, 16 kindergartens. Eight new medical institutions were built.

Speaking of the plans for 2011 the governor said that the work of the local administration would be based on the tasks set by the President in his Address to the Nation. 10 new productions will be put into operation. Construction of residential housing, schools and medical institutions will be continued. Special emphasis is planned to be laid on the agro-industrial complex development, housing and utilities infrastructure modernization.
