At the EEC Council meeting Kazakhstan has made a number of comments

During the meeting of the EEC Council in a narrow format the following questions are being addressed:

- about the working group on the issue of Armenia's joining the Customs Union (CU) and Common Economic Space (CES);

- about the Road map of Kyrgyzstan's joining the CU;

- about the draft Agreement on protection of confidential information and responsibility for its disclosure in the implementation of EEC enforcement of common rules on competition;

- about the draft decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On the transfer of the Eurasian Economic Commission authority to monitor compliance with common rules of competition in the markets for cross-border territories of the states - members of the Customs Union and Common Economic Space";

- about the draft decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission "On representation of a coordinated position of the CU and CES states on trade in services and public procurement rules in formation of the Treaty on free trade zone as of 18 October 2011 ";

- about the progress of negotiations on a free trade agreement with Vietnam;

- about the draft decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On application of response to the actions of trading partners that violate international obligations to Member States of the Customs Union."

- about the approaches of the CU at the conclusion of the Agreement on free trade zone with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA);

- about the draft decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On the budget of the Eurasian Economic Commission for 2014."

In the narrow format the meeting is being attended by deputy heads of the Governments of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. In the extended format the meeting will be held with participation of representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.

The meeting is being held under the leadership of Chairman of the Board of ECE, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

Following the discussion there wil be made decisions concerning the issues on the agenda.
