At least five killed in U.S. floods

MOSCOW. September 22. KAZINFORM At least five people, including a two-year-old child, have been killed and four are listed as missing as a result of floods in southwestern U.S., Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
Four people perished in Georgia, two of them while trying to drive through floodwater. The fatalities in Georgia also include a two-year-old child, who was swept away from her father.
A 46-year-old man, was swept away by current in Tennessee as he was swimming in a flooded ditch with his friend during an apparent bet. The friend was rescued by firefighters.
A total of 300 people were evacuated in the town of Trion in northwest Georgia amid fears that a levee might break.
