Astrakhan to host business forum of Caspian littoral countries

BAKU. KAZINFORM - The Presidents of five Caspian countries including President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani supported the Caspian European Club's (CEIBC) initiative to hold the first business forum within the framework of the Caspian Summit due in Astrakhan in September 29.

According to Telman Aliyev, Chief Executive Officer of CEIBC, the business forum to be held for the first time within the framework of the Summit of 5 Caspian states will promote the growth of 5-sided economic cooperation as well as creation of the permanent platform for support of business-initiatives of the Caspian region countries' entrepreneurs (members of the Caspian European Club). Caspian Energy International Media Group has been operating since 1999. Caspian Energy journal among the top five editions of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions and is the benchmark for many investors in determining their activities. CEIBC was established in June 2002 with the active participation of Caspian Energy International Media Group and supported by the major oil and gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. CEIBC chairman is the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
