Astana Torch bearers named

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Cyclist Alexander Vinokourov, Mayor of Ankara Melih Gokchek, First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev, Minister of Tourism and Sport Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov, Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov are among those to carry the Asian Games Flame along the streets of Astana.
Besides, deputies, ambassadors, sportsmen, artists, medical workers, firefighters and journalists will also take part in the Torch Relay.
Totally the list of the Torch bearers includes 93 outstanding figures of the country, the press service of the Astana city Akimat reports.
The Flame will arrive to the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana on January 29 at 05:00 pm. On January 30 the Torch Relay will start near Kazakh Yeli monument at 12:00 pm and finish at Astana-Arena stadium.
"The route of the Torch Relay is divided into two stages. The total length of the route is 15.4 km. The relay will last for three hours", the message of the city administration writes.
