Astana to host Chinese porcelain exhibition

"As requested by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, September 25-28 of the current year our country will hold the Days of Culture of the People's Republic of China," the statement reads.

As part of the Days of Culture on September 25 at 4 p.m. the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host an exhibition of Chinese porcelain and a photo exhibition devoted to the ecological culture of the country. The exhibition will feature exclusive modern Chinese porcelain, ceramic crafts, porcelain handicrafts, as well as photo pictures demonstrating the ecological culture of China and the country's achievements in the construction of ecological villages. The event will run until October 14.

September 25 Astana Opera and September 28 the Kazakh State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Abay will hold concerts of Chinese masters of arts. The performances will join artists of the Central ensemble of folk singing and dancing of China, the troupe of circus arts of Taiyuan, the musicians of "Wu sefen" orchestra, as well as famous artists of China including Wu Na, Dong Fei, Gow Chanchan, Chen Chen, Mu Mingjiang, Muralay Beymurat and others.
