Astana to host Caspian Sea status debates this Nov
According to him, the meetings of the working group are of great significance but the summits of the heads of the Caspian littoral states are critical and starting next year the experts will work on preparations for the summit of the heads of the Caspian states.
As earlier reported, on May 14, 2003 Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on junction point of the lines of demarcation of adjoining sectors of the Caspian seabed. Besides, back to November 2003 the littoral countries signed the framework convention for the Caspian Sea marine environment protection. On November 29, 2001 and February 27, 2003 Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan signed the agreement on delimitation of the Caspian seabed and protocol to the agreement correspondingly.
