Astana to hold meeting of Joint Commission of Japan-Kazakhstan Government and Private Sector on Economic Cooperation

ASTANA. August 19. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan and Japan will more effectively use the potential of the Joint Commission of private and public sectors on Kazakh-Japanese economic cooperation in order to enhance economic relations.
At today's meeting between Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev and Ambassador of Japan to Kazakhstan Yuzo Harada the sides agreed to hold the next sitting of the commission on October 6 in Astana.
The theme will be "Strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Japan: cooperation prospects in the field of innovation and industry". Special attention will be paid to industrial diversification through the development of innovative and high technology.
It is expected that more than 300 Kazakh and Japanese representatives will attend the meeting.
