Astana to fulfill special needs children's wishes

ASTANA. June 18. KAZINFORM A lot of socially-significant events devoted to the 15th anniversary of Kazakhstan's capital will be held in Astana, the media group of the organization committee on preparation for the Astana 15th anniversary informed.
So, on the eve of the event, "The Wish Tree" charity event will take place. A tree with envelops of disabled children's wishes will be placed in such shopping and entertainment malls as Mega Astana, Saryarka, Khan Shatyr, Keruen, Asia Park. The visitors will read them and help special needs children make their dreams come true.
In general, currently 1,400 children with disabilities up to 18 years are registered in the capital of Kazakhstan. All of them need support in terms of social adaptation and integration into the society. Such actions help attract public attention to the problems of children with disabilities, as well as implement the state policy in the field of social protection.
