Astana to discuss industry development within CU

ASTANA. May 13. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ A roundtable meeting on Customs Union as a stimulus for diversification of Kazakhstan economy is to be held in the Kazakh Majilis on May 16. Minister for Economic Integration Zhanar Aitzhanova is expected to take part in it.
The meeting which is organized by the Economic Policy Council of Nur Otan Party's Faction in the Majilis will focus on development of industry, transit and transport potential within the Customs Union and will discuss the influence of the Customs Union on development of small and medium enterprises in Kazakhstan.
Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Minister of Transport and Communications, chairpersons of the Customs Control Committee, Tax Committee, representatives of state bodies and business associations are to participate in the meeting.
