Astana should be a comfortable administrative center of the country: President

ASTANA. November 23. KAZINFORM Today Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has paid a visit to "Research and Design Institute "Astanagenplan" LLP, the president's press service says.
During the visit, President Nazarbayev noted the capital's population is about to reach 900 thousand people as a consequence of active migration processes.
The Kazakh leader also stressed it was necessary to take further measures in order to improve the social standing of Astana's inhabitants and develop the city's infrastructure.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also instructed to continue the work on "green belt" around the Kazakh capital and within its boundaries.
Astana mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov briefed the President on the work done in terms of city planning and the course of implementation of the projects under construction.
