Astana neurosurgical centre performed 300th vascular brain surgery

ASTANA. October 27. KAZINFORM The other day surgeons of the brain surgery department of the Republican Scientific Centre of Neurosurgery performed successfully the 300th Astana surgery on a patient diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation - congenital abnormality in the development of brain vascular system. The first similar surgery was made 3 years ago, the centre's press release reads.
